Terms of Service

By downloading, installing or using any part of the Arc Companion service — including the mobile app, the Arc Companion Sync desktop tool, or this website (each referred to as “the App”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Brightfox Studio (the publisher of Arc Companion).

• ·Arc Companionmobile app — interactive maps, item database, workshop & quest tracking, player marketplace, loadout builder.
• ·Arc Companion Sync — an optional Windows desktop tool that mirrors your in-game stash and progression into the mobile app.
• ·The arccompanion.io website and any landing or download pages.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using it, you represent and warrant that:

• ·You are at least 13 years of age.
• ·You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• ·Your use of the App complies with all applicable laws.

If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

Creating an account

• ·Some features require an account.
• ·You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.
• ·You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

Security

• ·Choose a strong, unique password.
• ·Do not share your credentials.
• ·Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Termination

• ·You may delete your account at any time from the Account Deletion page.
• ·We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• ·On termination, your access to the App ceases and your data may be deleted.

You agree to use the App in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You agree NOT to:

• ✗Harass, bully or threaten other users.
• ✗Post offensive, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content.
• ✗Impersonate others or create fake accounts.
• ✗Spam, advertise or promote external services without permission.
• ✗Attempt to hack, disrupt or compromise the App's security.
• ✗Use automated bots, scripts or scrapers against the App.
• ✗Exploit bugs, glitches or unintended behavior for unfair advantage.
• ✗Share or sell account credentials.
• ✗Violate intellectual property rights.
• ✗Share false, misleading or deceptive information.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or a permanent ban, and where warranted, legal action.

Ownership

You retain ownership of comments, marker notes, marketplace listings, and other content you create. By posting content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content within the App.

Standards

• ·Be accurate and relevant.
• ·Do not infringe on others' rights.
• ·Follow our community guidelines.
• ·Keep content appropriate for a 13+ audience.

We may moderate, edit or remove content that violates these Terms.

The in-app marketplace lets users list in-game items for trade. We provide the platform only; we are not a party to transactions between users.

Your responsibilities

• ·You are responsible for the listings you create.
• ·Verify trades before accepting.
• ·We cannot recover lost items or resolve disputes between users.
• ·Report fraudulent listings immediately.

The Arc Companion Sync desktop tool is optional and provided for your convenience.

• ·It mirrors a snapshot of your in-game stash into your Arc Companion account so the mobile app can read it.
• ·It captures only a short-lived session token from the game and does not interact with the game client, modify game memory, or automate gameplay in any way.
• ·We do not see, store or transmit your platform password.
• ·You may disconnect or uninstall the tool at any time. Disconnecting from the mobile app immediately invalidates the device-bound token.

You are responsible for using the tool in line with the terms of service of the underlying game and platform (Steam, Epic, Embark). We make no representation that use of the tool is permitted by those platforms — if you are unsure, do not use it.

Our rights

The App, including its design, code, graphics, branding and trademarks (excluding game content), is owned by Brightfox Studio and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Game content

All ARC Raiders content — including character names, items, locations, mechanics, lore, assets, trademarks and logos — is the property of Embark Studios and their respective owners. We display this content for informational and educational purposes under fair use.

“As is” basis

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, game progress or in-game items.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is less.

We are not responsible for

• ·User-generated content or interactions between users.
• ·Third-party services or websites linked from the App.
• ·Unauthorized access to your account.
• ·Loss of in-game items or game progress.
• ·Decisions made based on information shown in the App.

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it to understand how we collect, use and protect your information.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• ·Posting the updated Terms in the App and on this website.
• ·Updating the “Last updated” date above.
• ·Sending an in-app notification for material changes.

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

By you

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

By us

• ·We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• ·We may discontinue any feature, or the entire App, at any time.
• ·We may refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Informal first

Before pursuing any legal action, please contact us so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

• ·Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
• ·Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• ·Waiver. Our failure to enforce a right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• ·Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
